Barcza Pincészet Orange Wine

Barcza Pincészet’s 2021 orange wine is made from organically farmed Olaszrizling, fermented on the skins for two weeks. Its lower alcohol and high acidity create a precise, elegant balance, while the extended ageing gives the wine depth and composure.

It spent sixteen months in tank, followed by a further two years in bottle. The skin-contact method does not overwhelm the terroir, but brings it into sharper focus: a taut, mineral and distinctly saline wine that expresses Somló with clarity and restraint.
