Tomcsányi Családi Birtok Juhfark

Tomcsányi Családi Birtok’s Juhfark comes from higher-lying vineyards on Somló, rooted in soils containing both limestone and small basalt stones. The grapes were whole-bunch pressed, and the wine spent one year on the lees in 500-litre Hungarian oak barrels.

Firm, saline and strongly shaped by its site, the extended lees ageing brings depth and texture to Juhfark’s naturally direct structure. A characterful, naturally made wine that gives a clear expression of Somló’s stony, volcanic landscape.
