Barnabás Pince’s 2022 Furmint comes from a tiny vineyard at the top of the Aranyhegy site on Somló’s southern side. Tóth Barnabás farms only around 0.6 hectares, working primarily with Furmint and Hárslevelű.
Firmly structured, with lively acidity and a pronounced mineral character, this is a focused expression of volcanic Furmint. Despite its restrained 12% alcohol, it has real depth and presence, clearly reflecting both the variety and its Somló origin.
