Baráth Borműhely’s Juhfark comes from organically farmed vines in the Apátsági vineyard on the southern side of Somló. The must fermented in 225- and 300-litre oak barrels and remained on the lees for five months, followed by a further twelve months of ageing in a 2,000-litre oak cask.

Harmonious, composed and finely structured, the extended oak ageing brings depth and shape without weighing the wine down. A mature and highly approachable expression of one of Somló’s defining grape varieties, bottled unfined and unfiltered.
