Fekete Pince Furmint

Fekete Pince’s 2021 Furmint was carefully harvested by hand, given a short period of skin contact and fermented naturally in a 1,000-litre Hungarian oak cask. It spent ten months in used oak, followed by a further 26 months of ageing in tank.

Mature, substantial and firmly structured, it combines Somló’s salinity and mineral depth with a long, composed finish. Extended ageing brings breadth and complexity without taking away from Furmint’s natural tension. Only 1,400 bottles were produced.
