Fekete Pince Hárslevelű Gold Edition

Fekete Pince’s 2019 Hárslevelű Gold Edition is a concentrated, long-aged Somló wine produced in a limited release of just 1,950 bottles. The carefully hand-harvested grapes were given two hours of skin contact, gently pressed and fermented naturally in 1,000-litre Hungarian oak casks. Ten months in used oak was followed by a further four years of oxygen-free ageing in tank.

Deep gold in colour, it is full-bodied and richly textured, with maturity, gentle honeyed spice and firm acidity held in careful balance. Complex and concentrated, it points towards the bolder character of the winery’s “fkt” series, but with greater restraint and refinement.
